* * *Рамки считывания сдвиг, мутация со сдвигом р. с., мутация со сдвигом фазы — мутация, определяющая наличие добавочных или, наоборот, потерянных нуклеотидов (одного или нескольких), но в количестве, кратном трем. Цистрон, содержащий дополнительное нуклеотидное основание или, напротив, имеющий нехватку его, будет транскрибировать иРНК рамку считывания со сдвигом, т. е. в течение трансляции информация будет прочитана точно поверх точки с «потерянным» или, напротив, с дополнительным нуклеотидом. Т. обр., последовательности нуклеотидов в кодонах будут определять образование аминокислот в неправильном порядке, т. е. др. белка, а некоторые из них могут обозначать и конец цепи, или блокирование синтеза белка. Мутации рамки считывания могут супрессировать (см. Супрессия) друг друга, это значит, что при одновременном появлении одного и удалении др. нуклеотида только в этом участке и между этими мутациями будет происходить неправильное считывание кода.Англо-русский толковый словарь генетических терминов > reading frame mutation
